People Defending Intentionally Terrible “Banksy” Pieces
Yesterday, we put up an article called “Anyone Else Feel Like Banksy is Getting Kind of Lazy?" We spent a few fun minutes pitching out either painfully trite ideas, or ideas that seem vaguely political but make no sense if you give it one second of thought. Caldwell did a really fantastic job illustrating these awful, awful ideas.
In a simultaneously hilarious and depressing turn of events, a fair number of people (1) thought they were real Banksy pieces, and (2) defended these awful, nonsense images. Some people even attacked us for being too critical at the same time that they praised the intentionally bad images we created.
Anyway, here are some of my favorite comments.
This is why we do it, folks. This right here.
